When there&rsquo;s too much AMH, it may be the culprit in stopping ovulation from happening. AMH works to make sure the follicles mature before they are released. In the case of high AMH, the production of a healthy egg every cycle is halted because the follicles begin to develop and then stall before they are ovulated.</font></li><li><font color="#2a2a2a">It is unknown as to what causes AMH to be high in women with PCOS however it&rsquo;s thought that it may be related to increased LH.
